At Southern Care, our goal is to exceed expectations and ensure that our resident's needs are being met. Whether it’s helping remembering when to take medication, help with laundry, meal preparation, or any of the other obstacles of daily living, we are here to help.

I have no problem talking to her anytime I need to. They keep me informed too. My mother-in-law is very picky, but they do everything they can to make her happy. It is a good place. The staff members are always available. The living atmosphere is fine. My in-laws have a living room and a bedroom. The food is very good too."
"My father-in-law was at Southern Care for about 3 years and we were pleased with the care. After a bad experience with an assisted living facility in Donelson, we decided to [also move] our mother to Southern Care. It's not the fanciest with all the bells and whistles but it is clean and small enough that patients are actually called by their name. Home cooked food (actually seasoned, not packaged) and very little employee turnover (most of the workers were still there from several years ago). I was impressed when we walked in and they still remembered us from when my father-in-law was there. Safe, caring, and affordable."

More About Murfreesboro Tennessee
Back in 1811, the Tennessee General Assembly needed to desgnate a new location for the county seat of Rutherford county. They initially named it Cannonsburgh after then-representative Newton Cannon. Though later on the same year, William Lytle suggested it be renamed Murfreesborough after Revolutionary War hero Colonel Hardy Murfree. The name was shortened to Murfreesboro in 1812 when the town was formally chartered. As Tennessee expanded to the west, the town itself became the Capital (1818) though 8 years later it was replaced by Nashville.
